What Is Warren Girls Youth Basketball?
Warren Girls Youth Basketball is the feeder program for the Warren Central High School Girls Basketball program.
We work very closely with and are supported by the coaching staff at Warren Central. The feeder program is administered and the teams coached by volunteers. We offer camps and clinics on occasion, but the main basketball activity we offer is participation in a competitive school based travel league. We travel with teams from the 4th through the 8th grade. Typically we participate in a fall league with all the teams (4th - 8th) and then in a winter league with the 4th -6th grade teams, while our 7th and 8th graders play for their middle school teams.
Our main goal is to teach the players fundamental individual skills and basic team basketball concepts. And to hopefully instill a passion for the game and to have some fun along the way.
